Dominic Best, is the founder of Football Domination, UEFA B and Youth Award qualified coach with Academy experience across a variety of age groups and currently a FA coach mentor.

Dominic uses his own methodology of coaching to facilitate learning for young people at all levels of sport, it is designed to improve and support footballers at every level. Dominic has a unique model to which he intends to achieve this aim of ensuring our young people are equipped with the knowledge, ability and support they need to achieve their goals.

The Player’s Professional Pathway model (P4 Pathway Model) has been designed to incorporate the four levels to which Dominic has identified from grassroots to elite (P4 Model). This model ensures that the 4 key areas to which affects a young person’s development in football are met. Thus giving our performers enough support to achieve their dreams of becoming a professional.

The aim is to provide pathways for as many young people as possible through football. Our model has been designed to show, highlight and address limitations within progressing in football.

The assessment process will be for players to go through a training programme to test, challenge and improve players abilities. The programme will inform the coaches how well the players can perform in particular scenarios

The Assessment will cover;

- Footwork & fitness

-Technical & tactical work

- Attacking and Defensive principles

​

The assessments will take place during school half terms (every 6 weeks) and give players the chance to be placed in semi-pro or pro clubs.
